The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, which gained legend status in the gaming circuits during the time of its release, has been re-launched with 3D graphics by Nintendo. The game which was a cult classic hit in 1998 in the Nintendo 64 gaming console has been given a new avatar, complete with stunning 3D graphics and inclusion of a second quest. The 3D graphics aspect ensures that Link, the protagonist in the game can move in all three dimensions. Apart from the 3D graphics, the many other aspects of the game have been completely revamped. For example the dull and drab market in the original 2D N64 format, has been overhauled and looks like a charming and bustling square, a breathtaking view with 3D graphics.

"The Smurfs" is one of those animation movies which became a surprise hit after being dismissed by everyone. The aura of the little blue men in the movie was such that they even eclipsed Steven Spielberg's little green men and raked in a record $36.2 million for animation movies.
It has been able to make a mark among the animation movies because of its very clear and targeted marketing campaign with a hint of parental nostalgia and using the very popular one live star and other CG characters formula.
The animation movies distributors stated that they were always aware of the potential of this film as all of its test screenings had been terrific. According to critic, Alonso Duralde, what has set it apart from the other animation movies is that it combines an appeal for children as well as adults. He has been proved correct as 65% of the audience for the movie included parents taking their children.
